Adam Joseph Gross, 2023
Adam Joseph Gross was born in Coldwater, Michigan, on July 25, 1990. Active in his home community of nearby Marshall, he participated in the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 337, where he earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 2008. He graduated from Marshall High School in 2009. After graduation, Adam attended Olivet College, where he participated in the athletic band and served as the inaugural head of the Admissions Office student ambassadors’ organization. He joined campus journalism outlets serving as Web Editor for the OC Echo, the College’s student newspaper and as an on-air radio personality for WOCR, the campus radio station. In May 2013, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science and served as the senior class speaker.
After graduation, Adam remained at Olivet College as an Admissions Officer. In this role, he worked as a territory recruiter for southern Michigan, northern Indiana, and Ohio, and introduced a variety of technology into the College to recruit and communicate effectively. He married his wife, Kathleen, in 2015, and in 2017, they moved to Lexington, Virginia, to continue his career in admissions technology services as the Director of Admissions Operations at Washington and Lee University.
On May 15, 2019, Adam was raised as a Master Mason in Mountain City Lodge No. 67. He is also a member of Buena Vista Lodge No. 186, in Buena Vista, Virginia, where he served as Worshipful Master in 2022.
Adam lives in Lexington with his wife, Kathleen. They welcomed their daughter, Amelia, in 2022.
